And I help leaders practice it with authorship, not autopilot.

Leadership isn’t a personality. It’s a practice.

We are always performing.
The work is to perform with awareness, authorship, and alignment.

The Core Truth

My work exists to interrupt unconscious leadership.
The kind shaped by old praise scripts, rigid identity myths, and performative expectations.
I teach leaders to construct who they are on purpose—especially under pressure.

I know what it’s like to lead while being misread.
To perform success because it was safer than showing uncertainty.
As a Latina, immigrant, and woman in systems not built for me, I learned early how to code-switch, shrink, or sharpen—depending on what the room demanded.
That’s not just my story.
It’s a leadership reality for many.
But survival strategies don’t scale.
What does scale is Strategic Identity™—leadership that is fluent, aligned, and consciously constructed.
This is not about being “authentic.”
It’s about being strategic, coherent, and aligned in how you show up.

All my coaching, speaking, and program design is built around Strategic Identity™— a leadership model I created to help people:

the system behind my work

  • Reclaim agency in who they choose to be
  • Confront who they’ve been performing
  • Adapt without losing their values
  • Lead with integrity across pressure, power, and change

This framework lives at the heart of Russo Leadership—the company I founded to scale this work inside teams and organizations.

But whether I’m speaking on stage, coaching a founder, or facilitating a leadership lab, I bring this lens with me. Always.

What It Looks Like in Practice

My coaching focuses on high-accountability identity work. We don’t just talk about your goals. We examine how your current leadership identity serves—or distorts—your ability to lead.

My speaking challenges rooms to drop performance-for-approval and step into performance-with-authorship. I translate deep identity theory into sharp, applicable leadership shifts.

My programs like Lead by Design™ equip people leaders with the internal clarity and tactical skills to lead in high-pressure, complex environments—without becoming performative or brittle.

You’re probably the kind of leader who doesn’t want fluff.
You want a practice that holds under pressure.
You want an identity you can lead from, not hide behind.
